Quynn Johnson: Baby Artsplay!™ Caregiver Residency

Baby Artsplay!™ Caregiver residency programs are a series of fun, interactive workshops led by a teaching artist that use research-based performing arts experiences to support the cognitive, physical, and social development of infants and toddlers, ages 0-4. During the residency, teaching artists work directly with caregivers and their children in an embedded professional development model, supporting caregivers in learning how to integrate singing, dancing, drama, and other multi-sensory activities into their children’s daily routine. This collaborative, hands-on approach helps caregivers to tap into their child’s innate sense of curiosity and desire to connect to the world around them. These residencies often take place in Judy Centers, libraries, and other community-based centers.

All Wolf Trap teaching artists are trained through the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning through the Arts in their evidence-based model and early childhood practices.”

Individual Workshop/Session Length
20-30-minute workshop + 10-15 minute debrief with the artist.
