Quynn Johnson: Baby Artsplay!™ Childcare Provider

Baby Artsplay!™ Childcare Provider residency programs are a series of fun, interactive workshops led by a teaching artist that use research-based performing arts experiences to support the cognitive, physical, and social development of infants and toddlers, ages 0-4. During the residency, teaching artists work directly with educators and their students in an embedded professional development model, supporting educators in learning how to integrate singing, dancing, drama, and other multi-sensory activities into their classrooms. This collaborative, hands-on approach ensures that educators receive effective training on how to deliver developmentally appropriate lessons rooted in arts integration in a childcare setting.

All Wolf Trap teaching artists are trained through the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning through the Arts in their evidence-based model and early childhood practices.

Individual Workshop/Session Length
20-30-minute workshop + 10-15 minute debrief with artist and teacher.
