Valerie Branch: Wolf Trap PreK/K Literacy or Math Residency

Wolf Trap PreK/K Literacy or Math residencies are designed to be highly collaborative and creative partnerships between teaching artists and educators to improve students’ literacy or math skills. In each residency, a Wolf Trap teaching artist shares how to use arts strategies from disciplines such as drama, music, and dance to build teachers’ confidence in arts integration techniques so that the arts remain a strong part of their lessons after the residency ends.

All Wolf Trap Teaching Artists are trained through the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning through the Arts in their evidence-based model and early childhood practices.
