Registration for Blacktastic will close on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 5:00 pm EST.
Blacktastic will be streamed on a private page on the Arts for Learning website, artsforlearningmd.org. The platform that will be used is Vimeo.
Please check with your IT staff to ensure our website is “allowlisted” before the event.
There is ONE login for your school to use. Since you registered, you will share that login with the rest of your school community.
Registrants will receive their unique event link by email one week before the event, 48 hours before, 24 hours before, and the morning of the event. We strongly advise you to check the link to ensure you can access it on your device and on your school’s network before the event.
The Blacktastic digital activity book will be emailed to you one week before the event. The book will be designed in full color and can be printed out at your school for students to use before, during, or after the event. All activities are grade-banded and follow Maryland State Education Standards.
No. The Activity Book will be referenced at the end of each segment to extend their learning, but students do not need the Activity Book in hand to have an awesome experience!
Students will be invited to dance, sing, work on the activity book, etc., in their classrooms. Due to the "webinar" stream setup, there will not be an opportunity to interact with the performers directly.
No. Each segment stands on its own, so teachers don't need to tune in for every segment if they aren't able to. Exact times for each segment will be shared prior to the event.
Yes, this program is closed-captioned for all viewers.
