In this arts-integrated course, teachers to grow their knowledge of the art form of tap dance while connecting movement to literacy. Teachers will use elements of tap dance to embody fairytales and create alternate endings. Throughout the course, participants expand and deepen their knowledge of integrating percussive dance movement with literacy while developing engagement for their classroom community.
