Discover the powerful rhythms and vibrant traditions of Japanese festival drumming! In this interactive workshop, students will experience taiko drums firsthand as they learn simple rhythmic patterns and explore how drummers listen, communicate, and work together as an ensemble. Students will discover connections between rhythm and math as they divide and combine beats, while building coordination, focus, and teamwork through active music-making.
