This vibrant, interactive family workshop invites participants of all ages to discover the math found in music and movement. Families will explore call-and-response singing, rhythmic patterns, and playful movement activities that build number and pattern recognition, counting, and cardinality. Through clapping, stomping, dancing, and simple rhythm games, children and adults will learn and create together while strengthening math skills and building community. The workshop concludes with an exuberant free dance and a joyful mashup of “La Bamba” and “Twist and Shout.”
