This bus ride experience is based off of the Kindergarten – Wit and Wisdom text “Last Stop on Market Street which most of our BCPSS students in grades K-1 have been exposed to. On the explorative imaginary bus ride we discuss ordinals, one-to-one correspondence, and using the counting on strategy to solve addition equations. Caregivers will be able to learn how to use ordinary life experiences to connect to math and/or literacy skills that are being taught within the school building to strengthen student skills at home.
