In this residency, students will dive into mobile, hands-on, and full-bodied learning experiences that blend math curriculum with creative movement strategies, helping students learn to regulate their body movements in the classroom and cultivate awareness of personal space. We will put this new knowledge of their body in space to work in order to practice gross motor locomotor movements and then estimate, measure, and compare distances they have traveled.
