Celebrating over 40 years, Footworks Percussive Dance Ensemble is an internationally recognized, roots-based music and dance company showcasing the cultural diversity of percussive dance. Footworks has a reputation for exceptional performances, bringing the joy and energy of dance and music to audiences worldwide. All of Footworks programming is a celebration of cultural diversity!

Artist Statement

Footworks Percussive Dance Ensemble is internationally renowned for their theatre and festival productions. Late Artistic Director Eileen Carson was an NEA Choreography Fellow and two-time Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist Award recipient. Committed to arts in education for over 35 years, Footworks brings a wealth of experience and skill to programming in Maryland Schools.
