This interactive family workshop(s) engages participants through either a 1 day, 3-hour workshop or a series of 3, 2-hour workshops, in celebrating identity, self-expression, and creativity through the arts. Families will explore three art-making experiences: creating a collage, composing word art, and capturing a photograph that highlights “the best part of me.” The workshop(s) encourages reflection, storytelling, and collaboration while connecting arts integration to SEL, literacy, and visual expression. Families will leave with a deeper appreciation of the role of arts education in fostering creativity, confidence, and family/community connection.
