Testimonials

"A great program that truly integrates art into academics. It is not time away from teaching but rather cross-curricular that helps create the whole child. This art mural has impacted our students, staff and school community. Students learned about working together to create the end product. They also learned about their surrounding community and different art techniques."

Laura, Teacher, Calvin Rodwell Elementary

"My name is Jayla, I am 9 years old. I made a bird sculpture, a Northern Cardinal. It was very hard to make. It was the most challenging thing I did all summer. I haven’t worked with this much clay before. My art is normally written on paper. The most challenging thing was trying."

Jayla McCullough, Student

"Students learned new ceramic techniques. Teachers are still oohing and aahing over the mural. Everyone is so impressed. Absolutely positive! Everyone loves the mural and would love to see more."
