Artist Statement

Contradictions compel me and I explore them through a mishmash of mediums and interests, often using the color red as a conduit. I imbue my projects with playful sincerity while examining ideas of perception and transformation. Through performance, song, shadow puppetry, installation and collaboration I mischievously incorporate taboo themes into my practice. I am always searching for the perfect red. <3
