The Teacher Fellowship Program is a virtual professional learning community that supports teachers in:

Building authentic virtual classroom communities

Integrating the arts into virtual classroom instruction

Connecting with colleagues for sharing, collaboration, and innovation

The application for the 2020–21 Teacher Fellowship Program has passed. Please check back in 2022.


Engage in mini professional development at each session based on the cohort’s needs and interests.


Give your time, energy, expertise, and ideas in five Zoom sessions from October through February.


Collaborate for 5 hours with artists that you choose! This can be spent brainstorming, planning a lesson, co-teaching a lesson, engaging as thought partners, etc. You will decide!


Get access to our smART Tips portal, which includes bite-sized tips from artists about how to integrate the arts into instruction.


Receive time in community with a small group of colleagues to share, collaborate, and innovate.


Develop a final project that sums up what you gained from the program: A reflection, sharing a lesson you implemented, etc.


Earn an honorarium of $250 for your participation.
