If you have purchased schoolwide access and need to add additional teachers, please use the link that was emailed to the primary registrant.

Registrants will receive emails with their private link for the event 60 minutes before and 5 minutes before the event starts. If you don't see it, please check your spam folder; you may also need to whitelist the following domains depending on your email settings:

  • artsforlearningmd.org
  • joinnow.live (the platform Blacktastic will be streamed on)

If you registered for Schoolwide Access: each teacher who completed their registration add-on form will get their own unique link, as each link will only work on one device at a time. If you haven't already, please be sure to share the form we sent via email to each teacher who will be participating on a separate device so they can log in without issues on the day of the event!

If you registered before Thursday, February 15 and have not received an email with the Activity Book link, please reach out to us! There may be a problem with your email address.

Blacktastic will be live-streamed on a publicly accessible platform.

You may want to check with your IT staff to ensure that joinnow.live is “whitelisted” prior to the event.

The digital Blacktastic Activity Book was emailed out on Thursday, February 15. If you registered before this date and didn't receive the email, please reach out to us! There may be a problem with your email address.

The book will be sent out again closer to the event, or you can download it here. The performers will reference the book throughout the event, so printed copies for students during the event might be helpful if that's an option for you.

The Activity Book will be referenced during the event, but students do not have to have the activity book in hand in order to have an awesome experience!

Go ahead and complete the financial assistance application. If your school is awarded, we will update your payment information in our system, and you will not need to re-register.

The sessions will be interactive in that students will be invited to dance, sing, answer trivia, work on the activity book, etc. within their classrooms. There will also be a live chat and opportunities for students to submit their work online. We encourage educators and caregivers to post comments and questions in the live chat on behalf of your students! Due to the "webinar" stream set up, there won't be an opportunity to interface with the performers directly.

Each segment stands on its own, so teachers don't need to tune in for every session if they aren't able to.

Yes, the live stream will be closed-captioned for all viewers. When watching the replay, you will have the option to toggle captions on and off.

Registration for Blacktastic will close on Wednesday, February 20, at 11:59 pm.
