Dance Box

Dance Box is a variation of Coffee Can Theater. Coffee Can Theater is simply telling a story with objects as they come out of a container. To add movement to this storytelling strategy, whatever is in the Dance Box leads to a movement-based experience that connects to a book. This strategy aids in developing many skills including anticipation, prediction, following directions, and verbalization.
