Early Childhood Educators, Caregivers, and Families:
Join us for a fun-filled month of arts-integrated workshops, lessons, and activities for ages 3-6.
Registrants can earn up to 4 Core of Knowledge Hours through the Maryland State Department of Education.

With interactive artist-led workshops designed for our youngest learners, participants will explore through dance, movement, and song! Educators, families, and caregivers will build skills and confidence in using arts strategies that support childhood development while students creatively explore topics like language, science, math, and social-emotional learning.
- Each Monday during the event, you'll receive a NEW on-demand arts workshop featuring a different Early Childhood Teaching Artist. Every workshop will be available for four weeks after its premiere.
- Each Friday during the event, join the artist for a BONUS LIVE Zoom workshop!

Singin' Sunshine with Alden Phelps
Sing and learn with Mr. Alden as we plant an imaginary seed and learn about plants, animals, insects, vegetables, and more! Music, colorful visuals, and movement will teach and engage young children. Multiple interactive moments will help children identify and learn about their emotions and build their problem-solving skills. The workshop will offer different tools for educators, parents, and caregivers to help children grow in their social & emotional skills.

Bye Bye Blues with Vesper Osborne
Bye Bye Blues is a workshop focusing on social-emotional learning through song and storytelling. Children and adults will explore steady beat, pitch, and melody. We will empower individual self-expression, develop awareness and identify various emotions (happy, sad, mad) using the musical genre of The Blues and the book Everybody Gets The Blues.

A Céilí: An Irish Music and Dance Party with Marsha Searle and Footworks
Join the Irish ensemble, Footworks, as we sing and dance together and learn a traditional Irish Song and Dance. Fun and engaging for the whole family.

ABCs of Rap with Baba Bomani
Children, educators, and families learn to keep a rhythm, count bars (or measures) in music, and have fun learning how to write letters. Supplies needed: Students will need a whiteboard and marker to participate in the workshop.
