Dive into an exhilarating workshop with Baba Bomani that seamlessly blends the core elements of Hip-Hop performance with essential literacy concepts. From mastering vowel recognition and syllable structure to crafting rhythmic verses over vibrant beats, participants will be fully immersed in a dynamic fusion of dance and song. This engaging and interactive session promises an unforgettable experience where learning and creativity unite, offering a unique avenue for children to explore the world of language and rhythm.

Audience Limit 300 Adults and Children

Program Length 45 Minutes

Technical Requirements

10’ x 10’ clear area
Access to performance area 1 hour before set up
The artist will provide a sound system for audiences of over 50 people or for large rooms/gyms
The artist will need a power outlet to plug in the sound system
The room needs to have blinds or the ability to block the light at least partially
The artist will be in communication about additional technical requirements specific to the program
