Participants will discover innovative techniques to infuse narratives with vibrant energy, taking the story beyond the limitations of the written page. Arts for Learning is an approved Core of Knowledge (COK) trainer through the Maryland State Department of Education. This workshop meets the requirements for licensing and the Maryland Child Care Credential Program COMAR 13A.14.09.

  • 10’ x 10’ clear area
  • Access to performance area 1 hour before set up
  • The artist will provide a sound system for audiences of over 50 people or for large rooms/gyms
  • The artist will need a power outlet to plug in the sound system
  • The room needs to have blinds or the ability to block the light at least partially
  • The artist will be in communication about additional technical requirements specific to the program
