Description

Presented by singer Lisa Mathews, this workshop is designed to cultivate mindfulness, curiosity, imitation, and creative expression, all while drawing inspiration from the captivating sounds of nature, animals, and human-made things. These sounds, derived from our natural environment, inherently encompass the core building blocks of what we recognize as music. Throughout the workshop, we will briefly explore fundamental musical elements, including pitch, melody, and beat.

Audience Limit 300 adults and children

Program Length 45 minutes

Technical Requirements

10’ x 10’ clear area
Access to performance area 1 hour before set up
The artist will provide a sound system for audiences of over 50 people or for large rooms/gyms
The artist will need a power outlet to plug in the sound system
The room needs to have blinds or the ability to block the light at least partially
The artist will be in communication about additional technical requirements specific to the program
