Students will get to know an adventurous young boy named Jabari, who is totally not afraid to jump off the high dive at the pool. Well, maybe he is a little afraid. During our time together, students will use home-made shadow puppets to explore positional words, letter recognition, subtraction, the science of shadows, and how to persevere in the face of fear. Mr. Kevin will lead the students through acting exercises and the students will help tell the story of Jabari Jumps by Gaia Cornwall.
