Your student will have a chance to learn from the BEST teachers and teaching artists Maryland has to offer. By participating, your student has the opportunity to continue learning and growing in the summer months—developing critical thinking, problem solving, inquiry, imagination, and creativity—during a time when many children fall behind. This experience serves to reinforce the knowledge gained during the school year and expose your student to new, inspirational, and exciting ways of learning through the arts. After 5 weeks of the Summer Arts & Learning Academy, students are ready and eager to progress during the next school year.
