Artist Statement
Learning through dance brings the world of any and all curriculum content to life in the classroom. Creative movement explorations engage the senses, stimulate observation and communication skills, and foster full-body, active learning! Not only does dancing in the classroom spark engagement and learning, it builds community! Dancing together dissolves our walls. When we dance, we soften, open, and connect. When we move, we are moved. When we dance, we grow with invitation. We say, grow with me!
