Join Wolf Trap Master Teaching Artist Laura Schandelmeier for an immersive workshop for infants and toddlers and their caregivers where you’ll journey into the enchanting world of transforming books into lively songs and dances. Participants will discover innovative techniques to infuse narratives with vibrant energy, taking the story beyond the limitations of the written page. Join us to experience the art of storytelling through a fresh and dynamic perspective, breathing life into stories and crafting unforgettable moments of expression through dance.

Audience Limit 300 adults and children

Program Length 45 minutes

Technical Requirements

10’ x 10’ clear area
Access to performance area 1 hour before set up
The artist will provide a sound system for audiences of over 50 people or for large rooms/gyms
The artist will need a power outlet to plug in the sound system
The room needs to have blinds or the ability to block the light at least partially
The artist will be in communication about additional technical requirements specific to the program
