Unlock the transformative and contagious power of joy in this workshop led by Wolf Trap teaching artists Mary Fields, Laura Schandelmeier, and Caroline Ferrante. Dance, song, and theatre take center stage as tools to cultivate profound social-emotional connections and create joyful experiences in PK/K classrooms. Participants will leave motivated to apply these newfound strategies, infusing Maryland Early Learning Standards with an artful dose of joy.

Technical Requirements

10’ x 10’ clear area
Access to performance area 1 hour before set up
The artists will provide a sound system for audiences of over 50 people or for large rooms/gyms
The artists will need a power outlet to plug in the sound system
The room needs to have blinds or the ability to block the light at least partially
The artists will be in communication about additional technical requirements specific to the program
